​When I was just a little girl, I loved drawing.

I also loved pretending to be a witch, but I would agree that maybe this is not relevant to my artist journey.

A old box of shoes was my workstation, with all my pencils,pens and paper. Characters, creatures, stories. My daily routine was made of sketches over sketches.

As I grew up to a not-so-little girl, I still loved those things but I started a complicated relationship with drawing. I stubbornly drew and noted down story ideas, while my teacher desperatly tried to focus my attention on Dante and all Italian literature (just to admit at the end that I was able focus on both the activities at the same time, thanks Mrs. Donnarumma!).

Long story short, first, I graduated in Media Design and Multimedia Art (Nuova Accademia Belle Arti - Milan - Class 2017); then I got a second degree from the University of Dundee with a BA Hons in Animation in 2019.

I disappointed a bit my mother, who saw me as an engineer-to-be.
I miss Math but I regret nothing.

So now I'm a sort of newbie. I STILL adore stories, drawing and animation, with an extra soft spot for 2D hand drawn. During university years, I discovered the lovely pressure of pre-production - character design is my personal favourite, but I'm also really soft for visual developing.

I love listening old movies and documentaries in the backgroud while I work (hello Netflix, my old friend), and playing videogames even if I am the worst player ever.

But my interests aren't solely sedentary (...well actually they mostly are), I also enjoy travelling. A LOT! It doesn't matter if it is a big city or a wee village, I just love exploring and discover even the tiniest details and take references for my art!
